The Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, met in Riyadh on Sunday 15 January 2012 the Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of China, Wen Jiabao. They discussed the ways and means to develop relations between the OIC and the People’s Republic of China and addressed the current issues and developments in the region and in parts of the Muslim world.

NEWS ON THE IMPLEMENTATION STATUS OF THE OIC TOURISM PORTAL.
In order to develop the Tourism Sector in OIC Member Countries, the 6th session of the Islamic Conference of Tourism Ministers (ICTM), held on July 2008 in Damascus (Arab Republic of Syria), adopted a Framework for Development and Cooperation in the Domain of Tourism between the OIC Member States and set up a Coordination Committee to draw up a detailed plan and program for its implementation.
